Book Description
This is a tale of vampirism, madness, obsession and devil worship as Rose Baines, only survivor of her family’s carnage, tells her story. Fragile, damaged by the tragedy, fate sends her to a desolate house on the haunted moors where demons dwell. The house and the moors have hideous secrets, yet there is love too; deep, abiding, eternal, but it comes with a price, her soul.
Book Review
I have always had a fondness for the old gothic style books. Who can resist the ever brooding Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights? Well, author Carole Gill has recreated that wonderful old gothic style of story telling in her new book, The House on Blackstone Moor.
The character creation, flow of the story, and cadence of speech were extremely superb! I loved it all. Even the smaller characters were well thought out and created incredibly.
I ended up reading this book in one sitting. I just could not put it down. Carole Gill was able to build up the tension in the story and keep it at a level where you just really don’t want to put it down.
My one problem with the book was that the font used was very small. It was a little difficult on the eyes. But it was worth it because the story was that great.
So head on over to Vamplit Publishing to check out this book. Or you can purchase it at Drive Thru Horror.

For a person to devour a book in one sitting pretty much says it all! This is a novel that cries out, "Do no put me down!"
I too believe this to be a wonderful blend of Gothic literature, horror, and love, albeit the love is not for the faint of heart.
If you enjoy a majestically told story of deep horror, read Carole Gill's "The House On Blackstone Moor."

Wow, I'm so intrigued. This isn't the kind of book I usually read, but perhaps it is time to expand my horizons.

Oh a nice quick fun read. I think I would pass though because of the small font. I have the large print Bible already :/ Perhaps I will look for it on my kindle. I love being able to make the font as big as I need it
